DAW Tuner – Windows Audio Workstation Script Generator

Generate a tuning script + rollback script for Windows 10/11, tailored to your CPU, RAM, GPU and DAW use – without hand-editing the registry.

How to use this page:
  1. Fill in your system role, RAM, CPU/GPU tier, and DAW.
  2. Choose whether to disable extras like telemetry and Delivery Optimization.
  3. Click “Generate” and run the script as Administrator (keep the rollback script safe).

CPU/GPU “model” fields are for your notes and the script header only. The “tier” and “type” dropdowns below actually control how aggressive the tuning is.

System identity (labels only)
Goes into the script header for your reference.
Also header only; use GPU type below for behavior.
Tuning knobs (these change the script)
Example: i3 / older i5 laptop → Light. i7-8700 / Ryzen 5–7 desktop → Medium. Ryzen 9 / i9 / Threadripper → Heavy.
Dedicated DAW → most aggressive tuning. Mixed / laptop → slightly more conservative defaults.
OS & DAW
This doesn’t change the script, it just tailors the advice text.
Aggressive extras (optional)
These are safe for a dedicated studio machine you control. On shared or general-purpose PCs you may want to leave them unchecked. Role defaults still apply; checking these forces them on.
Disclaimer (read this): The generated script makes system-level changes to Windows power, services, and registry settings. It is intended for dedicated audio workstations and technically comfortable users, not general-purpose or shared family PCs.

Always:
  • Create a system restore point before running the script.
  • Save and keep the generated rollback script in a safe place.
  • Review the script in a text editor so you understand what it will change.
By using these scripts, you accept that you are responsible for any changes made to your system.
